Pumpkin sweet rolls anyone? YES PLEASE 😋 I created these mouth watering sweet rolls to celebrate the abundance of baking pumpkins available right now✨️
Pumpkin Sweet Rolls 🎃
Combine in a large mixing bowl and let sit 10 minutes in a warm spot:
1/4 cup honey
1 cup warm milk
1 cup Pumpkin puree
1/4 cup sour cream
3 tbsp yeast
Add the following once mixture is bubbly:
2 eggs beaten
3 tbsp butter softened
1/2 tbsp salt
5-6 cups all purpose flour
Add the flour one cup at a time mixing well after each addition.
Preheat oven to 425°F and butter a large baking sheet.
Roll out dough into a large thin rectangle. Butter generously, sprinkle with brown sugar, Pumpkin Pie spice, cinnamon, and cardamom. Roll up the dough, seal the edge, and slice with a sharp knife in 1 inch slices.
Arrange the rolls on prepared sheet. Allow to raise 10 minutes in a warm location.
Bake 10-12 minutes.
Cool on a rack.
Make a cream cheese frosting and enjoy!
